In my profession, I often go to furniture stores to find new items for my interior designs. In early June, I spoke with my friend Stefano Sorrenti about the different furniture firms and top Italian brands. He suggested that I visit a store in Milan: Natuzzi Italia showroom in Via Durini.
I already knew Natuzzi: they are a long-established brand. I asked Stefano to make an appointment so that I could introduce myself, see the showroom and ask if I could also take pictures (they agreed).
They were very courteous, something that actually doesn’t happen very often in top-brand showrooms. Shocking, I know.
The showroom was organized in different ambient settings: from modern high-end metropolitan apartments to summery vacation house interiors.
I was very happy to find that their style matches my own (contemporary metropolitan) and that the furniture they offered came in a variety of materials, from fine leather to marble to artisanal wood, with a high quality production value.
On the whole, I found many items that could be useful in my designs and I will definitely consider Natuzzi for future projects.
